2nd Grade

Mrs. Kelli Stubbs

Mrs. Stubbs has been a teacher in the Caesar Rodney School District since 2011. Before teaching second grade, she taught fifth grade for many years. Mrs. Stubbs was born and raised in Dover, Delaware and is a proud Caesar Rodney alumni. Go Riders! She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Wilmington University. In her spare time, Mrs. Stubbs enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Watching Flyers hockey, going camping, reading, and spending time on the beach are some of her other, favorite pastimes.

Mrs. Rebecca Reynolds

Mrs. Reynolds has been with Caesar Rodney School District since 2010.  She began working at John S. Charlton school as a paraeducator and later was hired as a special education teacher at Star Hill.  A born and raised Delawarean, teaching has always been a part of Mrs. Reynolds life. She began teaching horseback riding while in middle school and later became a nationally certified therapeutic horseback riding instructor.  Mrs. Reynolds graduated from The University of Findlay in OH with her Associates degree in Equestrian Studies and then her Bachelor's degree in Behavior Science and Masters Degree in Special Education both from Wilmington University. Mrs. Reynolds loves spending time with her husband and family.  Her youngest daughter is a student in CR and her oldest is a teacher in the district as well!  In her free time, she sells real estate, loves the beach and photography!  

 

Mrs. Stephanie Ivory

I am married to my wonderful husband, Matt.  We have a daughter (McKenzie) who is recently married. In my free-time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the beach and reading.  This is my 11th year teaching in the Caesar Rodney School District.  I absolutely love teaching 2nd grade. It is my mission to instill the love of learning in my students. 

Mrs. Katherine Marsteller

This is Mrs. Marsteller's 16th year in education and her fourth year here in Delaware. She moved here from Pennsylvania in 2018 with her family. Mrs. Marsteller studied Elementary Education and received her Master's of Education in Reading from East Stroudsburg University. When she is not teaching, Mrs. Marsteller enjoys gardening, reading, watching movies, spending time with family and friends, and walking her dogs.

Mrs. Tara Pickett

This is Mrs. Pickett's 15th year of teaching! She received her Bachelors in Education from The University of Delaware and Masters of Instruction from Wilmington University. She has taught 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th and 8th grade.  Mrs. Pickett's husband is a social studies teacher and they have two children.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach and advocating for children with special needs.  

 

Mrs. Katelyn Schnee

This is Mrs. Allen 2nd year working in the Caesar Rodney School District. She graduated with her bachelors of science in Elementary Education from Loyola University and received her masters in Birth to Third Grade from Saint Peter’s University. Her favorite grade to teach is 2nd!  In her free time, Ms. Allen enjoys reading, going to the beach, taking weekend trips with her fiance, Lenny, and planning a wedding! 

Ms. Chelsea Heinsch

Ms. Heinsch began her teaching career with the Caesar Rodney School District in 2016. She has taught 5th Grade, 3rd Grade, and 2nd Grade. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Delaware in 2016 with certifications to teach Elementary Education, Special Education, and Middle School English. In May of 2020, Ms. Heinsch graduated with her Masters in Literacy from the University of Delaware and certified as a Reading Specialist. In her spare time, she enjoys DIY Projects, reading, and watching Pittsburgh Sports (Go Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates!).
